JUNIOR VOLLEYBALL TRYOUTS - Spring Tryouts have concluded. Please join us for the August 3 make-up tryout!
JR Wildcat Volleyball Tryouts are open to any student-athlete who lives in the Wheeler district, attends a Wheeler feeder school (grades 6, 7, 8), or a sibling attends Wheeler High School for the 2025-2026 school year.

Sunday, August 3 - **Make-Up Tryout**
1:30pm Check-in
2:00pm-4:00pm Tryouts
4:00pm-5:00pm - Commitment Meeting

Where: Wheeler HS Arena - 375 Holt Rd, Marietta, GA 30068

*Waiver required to participate - A Participation Waiver signed by a Parent/Guardian is required to attend tryouts. This is provided online and will be provided at check- in.

Any additions to teams will be chosen by the end of the tryout on Sunday. Selected players will stay at the gym and be joined by a parent/guardian for a mandatory Commitment meeting to be held on Sunday, August 3 at 4:00pm. ALL PLAYERS and at least ONE PARENT/GUARDIAN are required to be present for the Commitment Meeting.

Fees:
$350 Gold - per player
$350 Navy - per player
$250 White - per player

NOTES:
- All student-athletes interested in playing for any Wheeler Junior Volleyball team for the 2025 season should attend the May 17 tryouts.
- Tryouts are closed to parents/spectators after check-in
- Please be prepared with the following: athletic shoes (volleyball shoes recommended, not required), shorts, t-shirt (no tank tops), knee pads (recommended, not required), and water bottle.
- Three teams will be selected - Gold / Navy / White. Each team will consist of 10-14 players.
- Practice Days will likely be Tuesdays & Thursdays in August & September with match days on Wednesdays and select Saturdays for tournaments.
- Sat, Sep 20 will be the end of season Junior Tournament
- Make-up tryouts will be held on Sun, Aug 3 - details TBD

Please be reminded things may change at any moment. Any and all updates will be provided via email and posted on our website (www.wheelervolleyball.com) as soon as they are known.

If chosen for a team, a  per player fee is required to participate for the 2025 JR Wildcat Volleyball season. Players will also be asked to participate in fundraising activities for Wheeler Junior Volleyball.

Match Schedule: August- September : Wednesdays @ local area high schools + 2 Saturday tournaments
GOLD & NAVY will have almost identical schedules. Please use this to your advantage with carpooling, etc.
